Two cases of peripheral odontogenic fibroma arising in the maxillary anterior region − A new diagnostic method using immunostaining −

We report two cases of peripheral odontogenic fibroma the maxillary anterior gingiva. The first patient was a 46-year-old woman with three-year history painless mass near left lateral incisor tooth. Intraoral examination revealed firm nodule smooth surface. CT images showed radiolucent lesion consistent mass. second 41-year-old who had been aware an asymptomatic hemorrhagic situated in midline clinical coral pinkish attached to did not show any abnormal findings. Both lesions were surgically resected 2mm safety margin under local anesthesia. histological characteristics both included proliferation fibroblasts and presence collagenous stromacontaining inactive epithelium. Immunohistochemically, negative for CD34 positive Bcl-2. patients no evidence recurrence associated tumors.
